Two for Tuesday – Blue Moon of Kentucky

I heard Elvis Presley's rendition of this song at the bookstore the other day and it immediately took me back to a time when, as a child, my parents used to take me to Bluegrass festivals. Kentucky native, Bill Monroe is the legendary Father of Bluegrass. You won't hear anything like this nowadays! Even Sir Paul fails to bring out the song's true essence, though I have to admit, I do prefer it over the LeAnn Rimes or Patsy Cline varieties. SO without further ado…
