Here's an interesting concept that has been executed in a dynamic and interactive website. The Collective Unconsciousness Project (TCUP) uses Macromedia Flash to present a plethora of dream snippets submitted by members of the community. The navigation within the interface is purposefully non-hierarchical. Instead, it is completely based on chance and the user’s choices.
Members can keep a personal dream log or they can also post their dreams to the collective anonymously. They say “TCUP is built to scale well. The more dreams that are entered into database, the more accurate and interesting the connections between one dream and the next will be. The ability for increased relevancy through natural evolution of the system will help the project mature with time.”
